We are seeking an experienced Android Native Development Lead to join our team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Android development and experience creating applications that deliver seamless, responsive user experiences on a range of Android devices.

Job Overview:

The Android Native Development Lead will be responsible for leading a team of developers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality applications. Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining reliable, efficient, and high-performance Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Project Management: Oversee the development process, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective collaboration among team members.
  • App Development: Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, prioritizing performance, security, and scalability.
  • Feature Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality code, ensuring consistency across all devices and platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to develop new features and improve existing ones.
  • Testing and Debugging: Perform thorough testing, resolve performance issues, and fix bugs to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Technical Skills: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
  • Documentation: Document code, processes, and project knowledge to support collaborative development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Android app development, with 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and Java.
  • Frameworks & Tools: Strong experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and Material Design principles.
  • APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and services.
  • Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and Android UI testing.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and version control practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Android Components: Familiarity with Coroutines, RxJava, Jetpack Compose, and MVVM/MVC architecture patterns.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery practices.
  • Dependency Injection: Familiarity with frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.
  • Design Patterns: Understanding of common design patterns and the ability to apply them in app development.
  • App Store Optimization: Experience in optimizing apps for the Google Play Store.
