Job Title: Project Engineering and Quotations Manager

This is a leadership role that oversees a multi-disciplined engineering team, providing engineering-to-order solutions for customer projects with electrical equipment.

The successful candidate will work closely with our quotation platform and manufacturing facilities to coordinate quotation work content, while supporting our middle office and commercial teams to deliver world-class solutions and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead people management, including resource planning, hiring, training, goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
  • Organize design activities according to load, project complexity, and required skillsets.
  • Manage team capacity and develop versatility in it.
  • Ensure technical quality and service levels are maintained throughout the quotation and engineering lifecycle.
  • Define training according to skill matrices and competencies targets.
  • Guarantee compliance with project objectives within our product definition file and quotation and design intent.
  • Promote continuous improvement of design activities in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Deliver overall customer satisfaction and quality for both internal and external customers.
  • Lead change activities to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction through successful change management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Strong problem-resolution skills and leadership abilities.

Ability to interact and work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds located remotely.

Capacity to think creatively and outside the box.

Must be able to work extremely well in a team environment and adapt to change.
