Clinical Research Medical Director
">Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Clinical Research Medical Director to lead our clinical development initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical trial plans, ensure timely recruitment, and drive the identification and involvement of qualified investigators.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our clinical trials by providing clinical medical expertise, gathering insights from investigators, site staff, and patients, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize trial implementation.
As a Clinical Research Medical Director, you will be accountable for adherence to safety standards, clinical data quality, and general scientific support for safety issues.
Key Responsibilities include: validating study designs, making final decisions on clinical feasibility, contributing to scientific aspects of start-up phases, providing clinical expertise to Institutional Review Boards (IRB) interactions, and developing clinical trial plans taking into account broader ecosystem factors.
- Validating Study Designs: You will make final decisions on clinical feasibility based on medical practice and competitive environment analysis.
- Scientific Contributions: You will actively contribute to the start-up phase to ensure fast clinical trial site start-up.
- Clinical Expertise: You will provide clinical expertise to clinical trial operations team members and clinical trial sites during IRB interactions.
- Clinical Trial Plans: You will develop clinical trial plans taking into account the broader ecosystem, including Sponsor Stakeholders and internal stakeholders like Clinical Trial Teams, Regulatory Affairs, and Patient Access.
