Optometrist Role

We are seeking an Optometrist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality eye care services.

• An Optometrist is a healthcare professional responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various eye conditions.
• The role involves performing comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing preventive eye care services.
• Key responsibilities include:

1. Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity, evaluate eye health, and detect signs of eye diseases or abnormalities.
2. Prescription of Corrective Lenses: Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses to correct refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
3. Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Conditions: Diagnose and manage common eye conditions such as dry eye syndrome, conjunctivitis (pink eye), glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
4. Pediatric Eye Care: Provide eye examinations for infants, children, and teenagers, and diagnose and manage common pediatric eye conditions like amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (eye misalignment).

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals and coordination of care plans.Develop and implement effective strategies to educate patients about proper eye care, visual hygiene, and preventive measures to maintain good eye health.
