Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in testing and quality assurance to join our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution
- Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaboration with Development Team
- Collaborate with developers to understand application features and design effective test strategies.
- Defect Identification and Tracking
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
- Test Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
- Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Staying Current with Industry Trends
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing, including browser compatibility and responsive design.
- Solid understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write SQL queries for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent analytical abilities.
