Energy Management Specialist

Job Title: IOT, Energy Management Engineer
About the Role:
As part of Carrier Abound, you would be responsible for developing and implementing IOT based energy management programs in client organizations in Asia & Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identification of new IOT solutions and savings levers through primary research and insight.
- Development of solutioning artifacts such as templates, assessment tools, design documents, and benefit estimation.
- BOQ creation, M&V, Energy Data Analytics, Remote Monitoring, and savings delivery during program implementation.
- Complete savings sign off with clients as per defined milestones and Innovation: Development of IP & Patent Filing.
- Subject Matter Expert in internal/ external forums, Energy Baselining & Benchmarking of facility Controls, Kitchen Equipment, Refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Interaction with OEMs to keep abreast of the latest technologies and Tangible and non-tangible benefit estimation, saving quantification, and ROI calculations.
- Periodic program review with clients including technical discussions, savings sign off, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelors / Master's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering and Certified Energy Manager / Auditor.
5-10 Years hand-on experience in designing, planning, executing projects in the IOT, Controls & Energy Management industry.
Good understanding of IOT enabled instruments/sensors used for various types of Energy Measurement and IOT based control systems.
Excellent presentation skills and hands-on experience on MS office (i.e., Excel, PPT, and Word).
Exposure to Analytics visuals or BI tools and acumen to Analytics Insights on Data received from IOT to Cloud system.
Able to understand Electrical/mechanical drawings used in buildings for facility management and Understanding of utility Tariff and Demand Response.
Desirable Competencies/Secondary Skill Set:
Certified Building energy auditor/manager from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).
Other Competencies:
Strong English communication skills - oral and written and Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and domain knowledge as necessary and Customer centricity - Understanding and responding quickly to customer issues.
