Are you a data visualization expert seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Power BI Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires extensive experience in building and implementing Power BI solutions. As a Power BI Consultant, you will be responsible for driving defined dashboards, data visualization reports, and data models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement processes and solutions associated with various data sets used for data mining, analysis, modeling, and predicting.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify trends, aggregate data, and build visually appealing reports in Power BI.
  • Collaborate across departments and with stakeholders to define requirements and develop business solutions.
  • Build ETL routines to move, cleanse, and prepare data for reporting within Power BI, SQL, or other tools.
  • Develop information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance.
  • Create solutions from initial concept to fully tested production, and demonstrate results to stakeholders.
  • Extract and compile various sources of information and large data sets from various systems to identify and analyze outliers.
  • Set up processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending data.
  • Experience working on Power Automate flows related to Power BI.
  • Experience working on Power BI Premium Capacity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of data visualization and business analysis experience.
  • Hands-on experience building visually appealing Power BI dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization reporting systems.
  • Experience with Power BI tools suite (Power BI Desktop, Power Services, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Gateways, Power BI Embedded, and Power BI Mobile).
  • Experience with the implementation of various Power BI architectures.
  • Demonstrated best practices to develop visualizations on Power BI Desktop or Power BI Service to ensure optimal performance, security, and governance.
  • Expert level familiarity with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power BI Pro, and Premium capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct custom calculations through DAX.
  • Proven experience in R and/or Python programming languages.
  • Strong understanding and ability to transform and integrate existing data sets. Experience with Data Flows.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical and statistical applications.
  • Good to have exposure to Azure Resources (ADF, Databricks, etc.).
