About This Opportunity

Ecolab is seeking a skilled SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our SAP QA Testing team, you will partner with business users and SMEs to identify end-to-end SAP Supply Chain functional and business process test steps, requirements, data, and obtain business approvals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business users and SMEs to identify end-to-end SAP Supply Chain functional and business process test steps, requirements, data, and obtain business approvals
  • Work closely with team members from other SAP functions as needed to assist in identifying end-to-end test steps and data
  • Participate in manual regression testing for enterprise SAP projects
  • Work closely with automation engineers to automate SAP tests
  • Gather requirements from the business to identify what test data is needed and translate those requirements into an overall data strategy to identify or create test data at the beginning of testing cycles
  • Create and/or provide automation run reports to the business for review and approval
  • May also work with the support team to develop complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain, based on given business requirements
  • Identify and clearly document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Maintain expert product knowledge and use an analytical approach to find best practice solutions and opportunities for improvement
  • Perform root cause analysis for major issues
  • Develop and execute plans and organize work to ensure efficient delivery of results to meet business expectations
  • Coordinate collaboration between the business users, other support teams, and the technical team to ensure seamless support to the customer
  • Provide analysis and hands-on support for system upgrades and technical improvements, coordinating with the development and technical teams
  • Collaborate with the technical teams (ABAP, SAP Security, SAP Basis, SAP DB support) to perform various activities required to resolve the incidents, perform the root cause analysis (RCA), tune and improve the system performance, etc.
  • Utilize your functional and technical (ABAP) skills to debug and independently analyze to provide optimal SAP solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/related discipline and/or equivalent SAP certifications
  • 7-11 years of support, configuration, and testing experience in SAP modules that support the Supply Chain Logistics value stream with the core competencies listed below

  • Customs management: Management of customs documentation and processes for import and export activities
