About our finance leadership role

Our company is a SaaS startup that has raised significant funding from top investors.

We are expanding our financial operations and need a highly experienced professional to lead the team.

The right candidate will have extensive experience in finance controllership, accounting or a related field.

The ideal candidate will also be familiar with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting, and have experience working in SaaS accounting.

This role involves overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and day-to-day financial operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team and external stakeholders, including investors, banks and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and execute all financial operations, including payroll processing, vendor payouts and collections.
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads.
  • Oversee cash management, including monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting or a related field.
  • Building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling SaaS company excites you.
  • You're open to being a generalist and adapting to uncertainty.
  • You understand budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Past experience working in SaaS accounting is an added plus.
