Video Quality Review Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous Video Quality Review Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our content creation process, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving videos to ensure they meet our high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate video content for technical, editorial, and creative quality, including grammar, spelling, regional alignment, and overall quality.
  • Review videos for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality benchmarks before publication on digital platforms.

Technical Quality Assessment:

  • Inspect videos for resolution, color grading, transitions, audio levels, and overall synchronization.
  • Flag and guide corrections for issues such as poor framing, sound inconsistencies, or graphical errors.

Compliance & Ethical Standards:

  • Ensure videos meet legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines, including copyright and fair use laws.
  • Verify that sensitive topics are handled with appropriate editorial care.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in video editing, production, or quality assurance within a media organization.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of journalistic principles and editorial integrity.
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and quality assurance tools.

Competencies:

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide actionable feedback.

This role involves reviewing and approving videos for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality benchmarks before they are published on digital platforms.
