We are seeking a Security Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for examining email, DNS, and DDoS attack patterns to improve defense. You will also monitor baseline changes for external threat detection and automate preventive mitigation.

You will serve as a DMARC and outgoing email enforcement specialist, working closely with management and executives to communicate technical information in business terms. You will be skilled in perimeter and cloud security with a strong grasp of current edge security trends and practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine email, DNS, and DDoS attack patterns to improve defense
  • Monitor baseline changes for external threat detection and automate preventive mitigation
  • Serve as a DMARC and outgoing email enforcement specialist
  • Work closely with management and executives to communicate technical information in business terms

Requirements:

  • 17+ years of overall experience with 10+ years of security experience preferred
  • Proven expertise in email traffic analysis and troubleshooting
  • Firm understanding of the fundamentals of networking, such as email, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, proxies, load-balancing, etc.
  • Practical knowledge of log aggregation and analysis tools, such as Splunk, SIEM, etc.
  • Working knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS settings, such as Amazon
