Senior AWS Engineer

  • Hands-on experience as an AWS Engineer or similar role is essential for this position.
  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in AWS Services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SQS, AppSync, CloudWatch Logs, X-Ray, EventBridge, Amazon Pinpoint, Cognito, and KMS.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CDK; experience with CodePipeline is highly valued.
  • Extensive experience with Serverless Architecture & Event-Driven Design is required for this role.
  • A strong understanding of Cloud Monitoring & Observability tools, such as CloudWatch Logs, X-Ray, and Custom Metrics, is necessary.
  • Proven ability to implement and enforce Security & Compliance measures, including IAM roles boundaries, PHI/PII tagging, Cognito, KMS, HIPAA standards, Isolation Pattern, and Access Control.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cost Optimization techniques, such as S3 lifecycle policies, serverless tiers, and service selection.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Scalability & Resilience patterns, including auto-scaling, DLQs, retry/backoff, circuit breakers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipeline Concepts is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Documentation & Workflow Design skills are essential for this position.
  • Exceptional Cross-Functional Collaboration abilities are necessary for success in this role.
