Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you'll drive the development and maintenance of complex Mainframe and Distributed applications, leveraging your expertise in US Healthcare domain, Agile/Scrum Methodology, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Mainframe and Distributed applications, ensuring scalability, security, and extensibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and drive requirements gathering, prioritization, and project planning.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure quality, and drive process improvements to enhance overall software delivery.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including Service Managers/Service Directors, to align on business objectives and technical solutions.
  • Assess customer needs, interpret requirements, and develop innovative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future directions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Software & Products, with hands-on experience in Mainframe (CICS, COBOL, DB2, JCL) and Distributed applications (Java, Kafka, Elastic, AWS, Python).
  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare domain, Agile/Scrum Methodology, and technical leadership principles.

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, based on location and experience.
