Job Title: Senior Data Architect

A senior data architect is required to lead the design and implementation of data strategies for corporate finance functions.

We are looking for an expert in advanced analytics who can help clients re-invent their corporate finance function by leveraging cloud and big data technologies.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in delivering multiple data solutions, with a deep understanding of ETL development, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

The role involves designing and developing technical solutions to deliver scalable analytical solutions, collaborating with business consultants and product owners, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

  • Design and drive end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery
  • Develop conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions
  • Ensure industry-accepted data architecture principles are integrated with allied disciplines
  • Drive the design, sizing, setup, etc. of Azure environments and related services
  • Mentor development and business teams on data architecture design and requirements
  • Review solution requirements and architecture to ensure technology selection and resource utilization
  • Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and publish thought leaderships
  • Work closely with founders to drive technology strategy

Experience Needed:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL development using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies
  • Demonstrated in-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, and Azure Data Lake
  • Demonstrated experience with different data models like normalised, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models
  • Data Quality Management (Microsoft DQS and other data quality and governance tools) and Data Architecture standardization experience
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy
  • Advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with knowledge of software development methodologies
