About the Role

Our team is seeking an experienced leader to drive our data and analytics efforts.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in delivering innovative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to design and implement scalable data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Drive discussions with stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvement.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and security.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 12+ years of IT experience in data and analytics, with a strong background in platform architecture and engineering.
  • Proven expertise in solution design and implementation using AWS services such as S3, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with agile and DevOps methodologies, and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, accountability, written and verbal communication skills, and time management aligned with Novartis Values & Behaviors.
  • Customer orientation, proven ability to communicate across various stakeholders, including internal and external, and align with all levels of IT and business stakeholders.

Bonus: Experience in managing vendor and stakeholder expectations, driving techno-functional discussion; understanding of the demand to sustain and project financial processes.

Able to think strategically, excel in culturally diverse matrix organizations, contribute significantly to value creation. Bonus skillset includes proficiency in CI/CD automation, Code reviews and automated testing is required.
