The Role of a Lead-Intercompany Team Member.

This role requires an individual to oversee end-to-end IC processes, manage a team of 3-4 members and handle their day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include reviewing month-end activities performed by the IC team, handling billing for IC transactions, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve global IC variances.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of professionals, overseeing their daily tasks and ensuring smooth operational flow
  • Review and analyze month-end activities performed by the IC team, including handling billing for IC transactions and identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and address global IC variances in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve IC processes, enhance team performance, and increase efficiency
  • Document and maintain accurate records of IC transactions and process flows
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 8 years of experience in finance controllership, consolidations, and inter-company accounting
  • Proven track record of managing IC teams, with expertise in IC ledger reviews, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across different regions
  • Proficiency in multiple ERP systems, including SAP and QAD, as well as consolidation platforms like Oracle FCCS and Blackline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify areas for process improvements and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
