Main Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum: Teachers adhere to international benchmarked standards, make relevant connections, demonstrate knowledge, and specify clear teaching objectives.
  • Instruction: Design coherent instructions, utilize various techniques, create educational supports, collaborate with staff, conduct remedial sessions, and ensure student progress.
  • Assessment: Transact student assessments, assign work, correct and mark student work, monitor progress, and adjust teaching strategies.
  • Culture: Create a welcoming classroom culture, integrate the school's theme, manage student behavior, maintain discipline, and support the community.
  • Professional Practice: Attend continuing professional development, communicate with staff and parents, enhance extra-curricular opportunities, plan activities, and drive outstanding student achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters of Education in the relevant subject area
  • Experience in teaching IGCSE or other international curricula
  • Good understanding of the IGCSE framework, assessment methods, and syllabi
  • Strategic thinker, skilled collaborator, committed to fostering educational excellence
