Job Title: Senior Data Solutions Engineer

This role is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced data engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge data-centric solutions.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in building robust ETL pipelines using Spark and Scala programming frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UNIX Shell Script, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Cloudera Hadoop (Apache Spark, Hive), and Autosys JIL.

The successful candidate will also have experience working on Big Data platforms, specifically with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and Cloud Watch. Proficiency in Teradata data warehouses and Enterprise Analytics/BI/DW/ETL technologies like Teradata Control Framework, Tableau, will be advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in ETL pipeline building with Spark or Scala programming framework.
  • Experience in Big Data platform for ETL development with AWS cloud platform.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and Cloud Watch.
  • Hands-on experience with Teradata data warehouses and proficient across Enterprise Analytics/BI/DW/ETL technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle SQL database performance tuning and relational model analysis.
  • Experience in working within a Data Delivery Life Cycle framework & Agile Methodology.
  • Self-starter, autonomous working.
  • Problem solving – advanced conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
