Job Title: Assistant Manager Legal

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Legal. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide the successful candidate with opportunities for growth and development.



Job Description:

The Assistant Manager - Legal will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key commercial contracts. This includes leave and license agreements, lease deeds, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other contractual documents. The successful candidate must have excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills and be able to work effectively across departments to ensure timely contract execution.



Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key commercial contracts.
  • Coordinating across departments for timely contract execution.
  • Supporting legal due diligence and compliance.
  • Handling legal notices and internal queries with precision.
  • Staying updated with legal and regulatory developments.
  • Maintaining legal management information systems (MIS) and managing contract tracking systems.
  • Liaising with external counsel and supporting litigation follow-ups.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, intellectual property rights (IPR), and procedural law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and proactive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate cross-functionally.
