This role plays a key part in promoting a DataOps approach, automating data provision, testing, and monitoring to shorten CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate collaborates with data & ML leads, creating optimal data pipeline architectures for data science products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote DataOps approach to automate data delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with data & ML leads to build data pipeline architectures.
  • Ensure data pipelines are scalable, performant, and maintain service connections.
  • Develop dashboards and tools for efficient monitoring of data infrastructure, pipelines, ETL, and analytics delivery processes.
  • Implement event instrumentation and alerting systems for anomaly detection.
  • Manage data and ML infrastructure, including upgrading, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT DevOps engineers and participate in enterprise DevOps activities.
  • Exchange knowledge on infra and data standards with other developers.
  • Contribute to innovative POCs with data & engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and contribution to DevOps/DataOps culture.
  • Knowledge of latest DevOps tools and practices.
  • Experience with data pipelines within AWS, database replication, and Aurora, MySQL, MariaDB databases.
  • Efficient CI/CD pipeline building for containerized Java/Python stacks.
  • Comfortable with Git workflow, experience with AWS deployments, configuration management, and provisioning tools.
  • Orchestration/containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic data science and ML engineering knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar degree from top-tier universities.
  • 10+ years of experience.
