As a seasoned Tax Professional, you will be part of a brilliant team of tax specialists dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting obligations for our clients.

Our Tax Services Group has a comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, allowing us to develop economical tax strategies for businesses and individuals. Our services include business, individual, state & local tax, R&D tax credit, as well as international and private client services.

You will work closely with the US Tax Services Group on various tax engagements, collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality results. As a Tax Senior in our Withum India office, you will have the opportunity to mentor and train tax staff, while also contributing to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of complex single & consolidation corporate returns including complex operating partnership returns.
  • Detail review of corporate and partnership book to tax reconciliation & tax returns of both federal & state jurisdiction prepared by tax staff.
  • Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect on work-papers and returns.
  • Support staff in resolving tax issues identified and complete tax returns within set deadlines.
  • Know international filing requirements and able to review international forms.
  • Train new joiners on concepts & technology and share timely feedback for each of the project reviewed.
  • Independently manage kick-off & regular connects with US counterparts and keep track of budgets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification hands-on experience with U.S. accounting firm;
  • Education: B. Com or M. Com. Or MBA Finance or CA Inter;
  • Experience and knowledge of U.S. Tax Code is required;
  • Strong command of the English Language, both written and verbal communication;
  • Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic;
  • Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations; and
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate as a team with the Domestic (US) engagement teams.
