Job Description:

As a Senior IT Vendor Manager at ZF, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective vendor management strategy. This includes establishing strong partnerships with external vendors, identifying opportunities to improve quality of service and optimize costs associated with their products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews with selected vendors
  • Maintain and monitor management information in vendor management tools based on inputs provided by stakeholder departments and external vendors
  • Negotiation support, including monitoring and supporting Central IT Purchasing, especially RfX activities, negotiations, and escalations
  • Analyze monthly financial reports and forecasts to support planning and monitoring activities
  • Be fully familiar with quality of running services, such as exploring monthly SLA reports and status of running projects
  • Compliance management, supporting the coordination of vendors' and internal stakeholders' efforts in general IT security and audit topics, such as ISO 27k and GDPR

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business and or Financial Administration, Manufacturing or Automotive Industry supply chain management work experience is an advantage
  • Min 3-5 years experience in a similar field at a multi-country environment, global coverage is an advantage
  • Solid understanding and experience with global technology trends and initiatives, digitalization, cloud-shift, consumption-based IT
  • Knowledge of IT procurement and sourcing activities and tactics, including RfX management, contracting, negotiations, change management, termination activities, risk management
  • Analytical mindset, proven capability to establish and maintain vendor relationships, data management, and influencing running relationship and improvement efforts
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, additional foreign language, especially German, is an advantage
