Job Title: Water System Design Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing concept designs, schematic designs, and construction designs for plumbing and firefighting systems. They will also be responsible for preparing tender drawings, calculated notes, and shop drawings for submission.

  • Produce concept design, Design Schematic, Design Development, and Construction Design of water distribution and suppression systems as per the architect's layout, requirement of client, and specifications.
  • Prepare tender drawing of water supply and fire protection system (waste, soil, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher system)
  • Provide a detailed note on project calculations, if required
  • Prepare shop drawing for submission and resubmission (Water Supply, Fire Fighting System drawing)
  • Select and prepare necessary materials for submission
  • Contact with suppliers to request quotations and technical documents, if required
  • Take off bill of quantities of water supply and fire fighting system (sprinkler head, pipe, sanitary fixture unit)
  • Prepare information regarding the design, structural specification, material, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.
  • Consult with consultants to determine the function and spatial requirements of MEP.
  • Coordinate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural Teams
  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
  • Plan the project layout.
  • Prepare scale drawings
  • Collaborate with supervisors in preparing technical reports and installation on site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Prepare Project Schedule, Design, and Construction Documents
  • Prepare Progress Reports, Daily Reports, Weekly Reports, and Monthly Reports.
  • Prepare a Material List and Cost Estimates for Bidding
