Job Summary:
We're looking for an accomplished GCP Data Engineer who can craft, implement, and refine complex data pipelines and systems using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role demands strong technical prowess in various tools and technologies, including BigQuery, DataFlow, PySpark, and GCS.
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve high-performance data pipelines using DataFlow (Apache Beam), PySpark, and Airflow (Cloud Composer).
- Leverage your expertise in BigQuery to architect data transformations, storage, and analytics processes.
- Streamline and automate data ingestion, processing, and transformation workflows utilizing GCP-native services.
- Optimize pipeline efficiency by troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks in BigQuery and DataFlow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, quality, security, and compliance.
- Cultivate and maintain comprehensive knowledge of GCP native services, best practices, and emerging trends.
Desired Qualifications:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineering (GCP DE Certification preferred); Hands-on experience with BigQuery, DataFlow, PySpark, GCS, and Airflow (Cloud Composer); Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages; Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and management systems.
