We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive innovation in data products using machine learning and statistical techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and information technology, with experience in building state-of-the-art data products using extensive and diverse Big Data sets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Employing techniques and theories drawn from mathematics, statistics, and information technology to uncover patterns in data and develop predictive models and actionable insights.
  • Interacting with data scientists and cross-functional teams to solve business-critical problems using machine learning.
  • Developing software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Guiding and coaching data scientists in innovative methods and execution.

Required qualifications include:

  • A strong desire to grow a career as a data scientist in a highly automated industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning.
  • Ability to extract data from different databases and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying design thinking while delivering data science solutions.
  • Experience in creating interactive user interfaces and dashboards using Tableau, Power-BI, or other visualizations tools.
  • Experience in cloud technologies like GCP/Azure.
  • Machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.
  • Python and/or R programming skills.
  • pySpark and/or SparkR and/or SparklyR.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop (Hive, Spark, HBase), Snowflake.
  • Experience in Tensorflow, pyTorch, and/or other statistical software.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with time-series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions, as well as existing papers from key conferences.
