We are seeking a skilled US Sports News editor to join our editorial team.

The role plays a crucial part in verifying the accuracy of content, proofreading and enhancing quality before publication. We value passion, intent and attitude over inherent skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Editing and publishing 20-25 articles daily
  • Proofreading for grammatical errors, plagiarism and fact-checking
  • Researching to ensure factual accuracy and eliminating incorrect claims
  • Mentoring writers to improve quality, output and performance
  • Ensuring smooth operations of writers in the sport division

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of experience in proofreading and/or content editing
  • Prior team leadership experience is an asset
