Power Trading Analyst Role

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the position of Power Trading Analyst. This exciting opportunity involves conducting research on power markets, focusing on India, Japan, and the USA.

The ideal candidate will have the chance to develop and implement strategies aimed at maximizing the value of energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement innovative trading strategies to optimize customer asset value and enhance overall portfolio performance.
  • Data Analysis & Modeling: Develop, analyze, and optimize models and processes to increase the flexibility and efficiency of distributed energy assets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of power markets, including wholesale, ancillary, and capacity segments, particularly for the Indian, Japanese, and American markets.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and adopt advanced tools and processes to improve the efficiency and performance of trading operations.
  • Collaborative Recommendations: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop customer-focused value propositions and global platform solutions.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor real-time and historical market data to evaluate and respond to energy trading market conditions.
  • Ongoing Learning: Engage in continuous professional development to deepen knowledge of market tools and trading methodologies.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all research and analytical activities adhere to industry standards and best practices.
