As a specialist, you will play a pivotal role in applying domain expertise to design and deliver innovative solutions that help life sciences clients succeed with their R&D initiatives.

You will bring expertise in biomedical data science, bioinformatics, computational biology, and scientific informatics to bridge science, technology, and business stakeholders, identifying and responding to client needs, authoring impactful proposals, and engaging through successful delivery.

  • Bridge business, IT, and scientific domains to drive strategic impact by translating clients' needs into solution roadmaps and actionable initiatives.
  • Support new business development by expanding our science, data, AI, and technology solutions and services within existing and new clients, working closely with sales teams.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide presales technical and functional expertise, creating pitch presentations to prospective clients.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, project estimations, and responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring alignment between client requirements and our capabilities.
  • Develop statements of work (SOWs) and ensure smooth transitions from presales to project execution by operations teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in bioinformatics, AI, platform engineering, and data sciences.

Requirements:

  • An advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field with a proven track record of consulting in biopharma services organizations.
  • Experience in bioinformatics services, presales, or customer-facing roles in Life Sciences or Biotech; strong background in bioinformatics tools, OMICs data, and applications of AI/ML in life sciences.
  • A strong understanding of biotech and pharmaceutical data, workflows, and informatics systems across drug discovery, translational, clinical, and real-world data, with the ability to articulate strategic and operational impact of data and AI-driven solutions.
  • A proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex scientific and technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives.
