Job Opportunity: Automation Architect

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our automation strategy and tool kit selection. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks that improve the efficiency of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, UFT, and Soap UI
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure efficient testing processes
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of automation projects
  • Promote QA productivity through automation tools and best practices
  • Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure effective and efficient testing
  • Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Work with teams on automation strategy and tool kit selection
  • Perform code reviews and verify coding standards are being met
  • Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers
  • Experience working with RESTful SOAP, Groovy, BDD tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI tools like Jenkins, database testing, built tools like Gradle or Maven, excellent oral and written communication skills, experience working with geographically dispersed teams, and customer-facing experience
  • Added advantages: airlines e-commerce automation testing experience, transitioning automation activities from other teams, and vendor experience

Requirements:

  • 17-20 years of experience in test automation with hands-on experience in different automation tools
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to see the test automation architecture as a whole system
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team environment
