Senior Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and platforms.
  • Lead the development of data models, defining data structures, and establishing data governance policies.
  • Design and implement secure data storage solutions, meeting compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Drive technology explorations and roadmaps, identifying new opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing data architectures.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases.
  • 3+ years of experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
