Senior Heat Transfer Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Heat Transfer Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of heat transfer solutions.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing thermal designs for heat exchangers using HTRI software.
  • Conducting specialist reviews for assigned technology areas, including new heat exchanger specifications, sales/service support, revamp designs, existing heat exchanger evaluations, and heat exchanger troubleshooting.
  • Maintaining and coordinating the development of required infrastructure within assigned technology areas in coordination with other local/global specialists.
  • Providing answers to customer questions and deviations, as well as participating in internal and customer review meetings for assigned areas.
  • Participating in field/shop inspection or troubleshooting activities related to assigned technology areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8-15 years of experience in the operation of heat transfer equipment or design of heat exchangers.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers for specification generation, technical evaluations, and electronic sharing of data across geographically separated work groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other engineering personnel.
