Job Title: Tax Supervisor

About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. tax returns, conducting tax research, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely and effective communication on engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review U.S. tax returns for partnerships (PE/HF/FOF).
  • Conduct tax research independently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timeliness and effective communication on engagements.
  • Oversee tax processes, coordinating day-to-day interactions with the team, reviewing engagement work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines for client deliverables, developing internal team members, and managing functional efforts of tax processes.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize, manage others, and meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.
  • Build working relationships with peers, supervisors, and U.S. colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in partnership taxation.
  • Qualification: CA, CPA, EA, MBA Finance, M.COM, B.com, BBA.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of US income tax laws.
  • Develop and train new and experienced staff.
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgement.
  • Responsive to clients.
  • Strong writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert in tax research software.
