Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and systems administration, with expertise in designing, implementing, and operating scalable and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To define, drive and implement the SRE strategy
  • Promote an "Automate-first" culture in operating services, through the reduction of toil
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identification of toil-heavy and inefficient processes, and for the automation and elimination of toil, delay and redundancy in such processes.
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery
  • Working with all parties, develop and implement SLOs for critical services
  • Define monitoring strategy with Engineering and implement appropriate capabilities
  • Design and implement reliability improvements
  • Conduct capacity planning
  • Perform chaos engineering exercises
  • Lead architectural reviews for reliability
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering and systems administration
  • Strong understanding of system design principles, scalability, and reliability
  • Expertise in designing, implementing, and operating scalable and reliable systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
