We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steward to join our team
Beverage Preparation and ServiceMix and serve a variety of drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages as per the menu.
- Offer suggestions or recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
Maintain the bar area, including stock control, cleanliness, and organization.
- Ensure timely restocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Engage with guests, take drink orders, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Resolve any complaints or issues related to beverage service in a professional manner.
Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, including checking IDs, monitoring guests' alcohol consumption, and refusing service when necessary.
- Verify guests' ages and ensure they are not intoxicated before serving alcohol.
- Monitor and manage alcohol consumption levels, taking steps to prevent over-service.
Be knowledgeable about the bar's drink menu and ingredients.
- Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and prices.
- Accurately describe menu items to guests, highlighting key features and benefits.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Practice good hygiene, washing hands regularly, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to management promptly.
