Software Testing Leadership Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our software testing efforts in the Insurance domain. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive quality assurance for complex software projects.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively allocate testing resources, including testers, testing environments, and tools, to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and oversee their execution to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of life insurance applications.
  • Establish defect management processes and tools to track, prioritize, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, collaborating with project stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
Requirements
  • At least 20 years of experience in software testing, with specific experience in the Insurance domain.
  • Proven experience in test management roles, with a track record of successfully leading testing efforts for complex software projects.
  • A strong understanding of life insurance products, processes, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Travel readiness is also required.
