Nutrition Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nutrition Specialist to join our team.

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of employees and patients visiting the Occupational Health Centre (OHC).
• Create personalized diet charts for employees with lifestyle disorders, such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Provide expert dietary guidance for individuals exposed to occupational risks, high-temperature environments, and physically demanding tasks.
• Develop balanced and nutritious menus for company canteens, ensuring alignment with occupational health and energy needs.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and portioning in canteens, adhering to nutrition and safety norms.
• Counsel employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
• Design nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels.
• Deliver awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists in the OHC to provide holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.
• Registered Dietician certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
• Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
