Cloud-Native Architect

Expert in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes Ecosystem



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and implement enterprise-grade AKS clusters with multi-environment strategies
  • Migrate legacy applications to containerized workloads on AKS
  • Implement advanced networking solutions including service mesh and network policies
  • Establish AKS governance frameworks and resource quotas
  • Implement AKS features including pod identity and cluster autoscaler
  • Design comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and ARM templates
  • Manage artifact repositories and container registries with security scanning
  • Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployments
  • Build self-service platforms and developer tooling to accelerate application delivery
  • Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor and Prometheus
  • Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for containerized workloads
  • Automate operational tasks including backup strategies and capacity planning
  • Implement security frameworks including Pod Security Standards and admission controllers
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture
  • Lead architectural reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements

Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of experience with strong focus on containerization and orchestration
  • Expert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd)
  • Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
