Roof Rails Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Roof Rails Design Engineer to contribute to our product development in Pune, India. This role involves designing and developing roof rail systems for hatchback, SUV, and passenger vehicle programs.

  • Design and develop roof rail systems for hatchback, SUV, and passenger vehicle programs, taking into consideration structural strength, safety, styling, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of roof rail designs and optimize them for cost and durability.
  • Maintain awareness of packaging requirements and collaborate with adjacent systems (roof, body side, sealing, trim) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Prepare and review 3D/2D design documentation in CATIA V5, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (styling, BIW, trim, manufacturing) to drive project success.
  • Apply learnings from prior vehicle program experiences to enhance overall performance.
