Infrastructure Management Specialist

Job Purpose:

  • We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Infrastructure Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the infrastructure, including server, storage, database, and network management.
  3. Cloud Computing: Leverage cloud computing technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  4. Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  5. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives.

Preferred Profile:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management, with expertise in both on-premise data center and cloud infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of server, storage, database, and network management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Functional Competencies:

  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures.
  • Understanding of data center functions, including production operations, change control, DR/business recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities.
