Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infection Control Specialist to oversee the microbiology department, managing laboratory operations and ensuring accurate diagnostic testing for infectious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement infection control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide guidance on appropriate treatment strategies based on microbiological findings.
  • Conduct research on emerging infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance, and infection control techniques to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead training programs for healthcare staff on infection prevention and control measures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in infection control and epidemiology.
