Creative Copy Director for Dynamic Brand

Company OverviewThe ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy across various platforms and media types. From conceptualizing ideas to executing polished final drafts, this role demands innovative thinking and effective communication skills.
Job DescriptionThis role involves collaborating closely with the creative team, including designers, art directors, and marketers, to bring ideas to life and maintain brand consistency. The successful candidate will write and edit copy for a wide range of projects, including advertising campaigns, website content, social media posts, email newsletters, print materials, and video scripts.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Conceptualize and develop creative concepts and messaging strategies that align with brand objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- 2. Collaborate closely with the creative team to bring ideas to life and maintain brand consistency.
- 3. Write and edit copy for a wide range of projects, including but not limited to advertising campaigns, website content, social media posts, email newsletters, print materials, and video scripts.
- 4. Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to generate fresh, impactful content.
- 5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of our copywriting efforts.
- 6. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior copywriters, offering constructive feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.
- 7. Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience insights.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. They should have proven experience (5 years) in a similar role within an advertising agency, marketing firm, or creative department, and demonstrate exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong grasp of grammar, syntax, and punctuation. A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative copywriting projects across various mediums is essential.
A strong project management skillset, with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure, is also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas persuasively, are essential for success in this role. Additionally, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for storytelling and a drive to push boundaries and challenge conventions, are vital for this position.
Estimated Salary:50,000 INR per annum.
