Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

As a mechanical design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems and equipment. You will collaborate with customers and marketing teams to determine design requirements and plan the design of precision mechanical equipment.

You will have the opportunity to solve problems in engineering design and participate in industry development. You should be mathematically and mechanically minded and have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

  • Determine mechanical applications and requirements with vendors and design teams.
  • Collaborate with project managers to determine project requirements.
  • Conduct research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute mechanical designs using CAD, CAM, and 3D CAD programs.
  • Perform computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs.
  • Develop and manufacture physical prototypes for testing.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
  • Proficiency with engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Rhino.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
