Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing annual statutory financial statements for EMEA and APAC dormant entities.

You will support the UK and European based teams with preparation of annual statutory financial statements for EMEA and APAC entities produced within Onesource against tight reporting deadlines under IFRS, new UK GAAP, and other overseas GAAP for certain locations.

Your responsibilities will include casting and note reference checks, updating accounts for comments received, and production of board packs. You will also be responsible for rolling forwards and managing administration for any Word produced accounts, letters of support, mapping files, and ownership of IXBRL reporting produced for the tax team from the Onesource system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements for EMEA and APAC dormant entities
  • Support the UK and European based teams with preparation of annual statutory financial statements for EMEA and APAC entities produced within Onesource
  • Casting and note reference checks
  • Updating accounts for comments received
  • Production of board packs
  • Rolling forwards and managing administration for any Word produced accounts, letters of support, mapping files

Required Qualifications:

  • Accounting qualification with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with current desktop tools, specifically with MS Excel and Word reporting capabilities
