Cloud Engineer Job Description

The role of Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Technologies.

This team member will be tasked with installing, configuring, and monitoring cloud services to ensure seamless performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cloud topologies, including designing, deploying, and maintaining hyperconverged and standard three-tier architecture environments using Microsoft virtualization technologies.
  • Maintain and deploy wireless networks for remote buildings and corporate offices.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of technology solutions using Azure resources.
  • Support and manage Office 365 users, Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Azure Solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.
  • Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like Azure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
