Key Data Architect Role

Seeking a seasoned data architect to design and implement scalable, secure data architectures that support business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining data requirements, designing logical and physical data models, and ensuring alignment with application and business goals.
  • Leading the integration of diverse data sources and designing robust ETL processes to support data flow and quality.
  • Building and optimizing cloud-based data storage solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud platforms.
  • Optimizing data systems for scalability, security, and efficiency across multiple environments.
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and leading/mentoring teams when required.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of data architectures and schemas to ensure consistency and compliance with governance policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 9-14 years of experience in data architecture.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Azure Data Services, SQL, data modeling tools, data integration architecture, ETL frameworks, and knowledge of NoSQL databases (like MongoDB), relational databases (like PostgreSQL, Oracle) and cloud services.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
  • Experience working in diverse domains such as healthcare, finance, government or technology sectors with knowledge of US healthcare data systems desirable.
