Job Role:

Audit and Compliance Specialists play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's internal controls and processes are functioning optimally. They lead and manage various audits, including internal audits, client audits, and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) exercises.

  1. Coordinate and oversee internal audits, client audits, and RCSA assessments from planning through closure.
  2. Collaborate closely with auditors to understand assessment scope and requirements.
  3. Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather relevant responses and evidence.
  4. Review and validate responses to ensure alignment with auditor requirements before finalizing and submitting them.
  5. Maintain a well-organized and secure repository of evidence and supporting documents for audits and compliance checks.
  6. Draft clear documentation, trackers, and status reports for ongoing audit and compliance initiatives.
  7. Manage audit timelines, delivery schedules, and ensure commitments are met across teams.
  8. Support in developing corrective action plans for audit findings and track their closure.
  9. Guide and mentor junior resources assisting in audit and compliance projects.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with Information Security concepts, controls, and frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST is essential.
  • Proven ability to handle internal audits, client audits, and RCSA processes effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to validate audit responses.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, auditors, and internal teams.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to client-facing security audits.
  • Experience working in regulated industries like BFSI or IT Services.
