SAP Security Professional

Ensure enterprise solution security and compliance by protecting SAP systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure and maintain SAP security roles, profiles and authorisations across ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori and BW.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests and licence assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorisation issues, IDM provisioning problems and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support, including complex problem determination, for SAP security across Development, Test/QA and Production environments.

The successful candidate will possess strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture, expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation, proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and strong communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
