We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance Linux file systems, ensuring optimal storage utilization and data integrity, using LVM concepts.
  • Configure and troubleshoot multipath environments, validating path configurations and resolving issues with LUNs and multipath settings.
  • Evaluate and correct OS vulnerabilities by patching servers in a timely manner, minimizing risk to our environment.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and OS-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system availability.
  • Implement log rotation, manage file system usage, and modify permissions/ownership as required by the application and DB teams.
  • Develop and maintain service management scripts for NTP, SSH, and AUTOFS, ensuring seamless functionality and efficient resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot server access and bootable issues, including grub repairs, to ensure rapid recovery and system stability.
  • Perform OS-level troubleshooting to quickly resolve issues and bring up servers in production.
  • Conduct OS migrations, where applicable, to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions.

As a Senior Linux Administrator, you will be expected to adhere to strict SLA and customer process guidelines while handling BAU activities. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our Linux ecosystem's integrity and performance.
