Memory Layout Engineer

As a memory layout engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of memory layouts. This involves collaborating with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints.

They will also need to debug physical verification checks including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR.

Additionally, they should stay up-to-date with advanced process nodes below 5nm.

Experience in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or TCL is desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a highly skilled memory layout engineer who can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts.
  • Develop a good understanding of floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints.
  • Debug physical verification checks including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR.
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced process nodes below 5nm.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, or TCL is preferable.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in memory layout design.
  • Proficiency in custom-based memories or compiler-based memories.
  • Knowledge of high-performance and low-power memory layout optimization techniques.
