We are seeking a skilled Technical Team Lead to join our fast-growing platform. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.

About the Role:

  • Lead and Mentor Developers: Manage and guide a team of software engineers, ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.
  • Code Ownership: Take responsibility for the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
  • PR Reviews & Feedback: Conduct pull request reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding standards.
  • Systems Thinking: Architect new features, considering scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
  • Team Support: Actively support team members in solving development challenges and unblock them when needed.
  • Code Auditing: Audit the existing codebase, identify improvement areas, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure creation and maintenance of clear, comprehensive technical documentation for both existing and new features.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services and architecture design.
  • Proven track record of leading/managing a team of developers.
  • Strong background in code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and ensuring code quality.
  • Ability to architect systems and think holistically about platform design.
  • Experience in delivering new features and product enhancements with a focus on quality.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with payment systems and payment gateway integrations.
  • Familiarity with video players, streaming technologies, and transcoding systems.
